Tasca Gluten-free and Organic Restaurant
46 Avenue de Suffren, 75015 Paris, France
Cuisine: Italian
Price: $$
Try: Pizza and Bread Basket (comes with the meal)
Some may consider eating Italian food while in France a sin, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to dine at a 100% gluten free restaurant. We ordered from a set menu to keep cost down and from my eyes ordering more than my stomach could handle. A bread basket comes out before the meal, a treat many gluten free-ers don't get to enjoy out safely, and the bread was soft and delicious. The highlights for me was the chauterie platter (I personally love a good chaucterrie platters) and the pizza. The pizza was much bigger than expected and so cheesy. The crust was soft and doughy and made me remissness to my gluten filled pizza days. This was probably my absolutely favorite meal in Paris.
Boulangerie Chambelland
14 Rue Ternaux, 75011 Paris, France
Cuisine: Bakery
Price: $$
Try: Orange Cake
A pricier bakery compared to the other bakeries on this list, Chambelland is another 100% gluten free bakery with both sweet and savory items. There are a number of breads to take back to your home, hotel, or Airbnb and a display case of pastries and sandwiches. Their breads and pastries shine, with the orange cake being my personal favorite. The sandwich was decent, but was much better when I asked them to warm it up. I enjoyed that along with some pastries with tea and coffee.
